Marketing as a business owner can be really tough. It seems there are always a million things to do, and not enough hours in the day to do them. Luckily we now have these incredible devices called smartphones that bring a computer right to our fingertips. There are many apps out there that can certainly help you cut down on time AND help you get the most out of your marketing efforts. Here are some apps for marketing that I use almost daily.

Evernote is awesome. I use it to plan out blog posts on my personal blog (pinkandpineapple.com) all the time. It's super convenient for when an idea strikes you because you can just grab your phone and type it up. It has amazing templates to help you like blog post worksheets and even a marketing plan template.
If you are using Instagram as part of your marketing strategy, quality photos are a must. Lightroom can seem a little overwhelming at first if you don't know how to use it. One of the ways I take advantage of Lightroom is through what's called presets. Presets are almost like a fancy instagram filter. You download them on your device and then upload them onto Lightroom. There are free presets available and also packages you can purchase. A quick Google search will bring you hundreds of presets for whatever mood you are trying to convey through your photo. Once you upload a preset to Lightroom you can use it again and again. I also use the camera feature in the app when taking photos on my phone.
Speaking of Lightroom presets, one app that I have on my phone is FLTR. FLTR provides free presets for Lightroom that were created by professional photographers. The FLTRs come in little packages of typically 5 to 6. The app is free to download and will give you access to many presets or you can pay $9.99 and get access to 250+ presets (I did and it is totally worth it).
How can I talk about Marketing apps without talking about Canva? Canva gives you beautiful templates for everything from posters to Facebook posts. I use it every single day. It just makes social media marketing and brand strategy so much simpler. Canva is free to use, but I pay for Canva Pro which is fairly inexpensive. It give you access to 1,000s of stock images and allows you to schedule posts for all your social media right from the app.
